Describe a custom view, field, rule or profile change in plain words. The Zoho CRM AI Assistant shows exactly what it will configure, and changes nothing until you approve.
Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.
the problem
Sales asks for a new view, a field, a mandatory loss reason, a reminder rule. Each one is a few minutes in Zoho CRM Setup, but they pile up, and when a workflow does not fire or someone asks who can see which records, the answer is spread across several settings pages.
the solution
The Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe the setup change you want, such as "a public view of open deals over 50,000 closing this quarter". It reads the current configuration first, then shows the exact change it will make.
Configuration changes follow the permission mode. In the default mode, Approve writes, nothing is changed until you approve. Changes to profiles and other security settings always ask for a final confirmation, in every mode.

Every new account gets 14 days of Plus free — no card, nothing to claim — and then settles onto Free, which is permanent. In the side panel every plan has the same safety controls and supported actions, and they differ in how much you can ask for each week. The MCP connector is included in every paid plan (Plus, Pro and Max) and in the 14-day Plus trial, with the same 10,000 tool calls a month on each.

questions
It shows each configuration change for approval in the default mode, and changes to profiles and other security settings always ask for a final confirmation. It cannot delete modules or layouts. Some deletes, of rules, views and fields, are permanent: those always ask for a final confirmation, even in Full access. Deleting a field also deletes its values in every record, so read that confirmation carefully.
It can do only what your Zoho profile allows. Most setup changes, such as fields, rules and profiles, need a profile with administrator rights. If your profile lacks a right, Zoho refuses the change and the assistant tells you so.
The current configuration: the module's fields, the layout and its sections, the existing view or rule, the profile's rights. It changes an existing rule or view only after reading it, and the approval shows what will change.
Yes. It can misread what you meant, for example which stage counts as "lost" or which field holds the country. Read the approval before you confirm: it names the module, fields, values and users the change will use.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. Some setup features, such as assignment rules or the number of custom fields, depend on your edition. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
Yes. Paid plans include a connector that gives AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT the same Zoho CRM tools. See AI clients for how to connect one.
