Create workflow rules that add follow-up tasks, set up lead assignment rules, switch off old rules, and find out why a rule did not run. The Zoho CRM AI Assistant shows each change and makes it once you approve.
Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.
the problem
Some rules were made years ago and still send reminders nobody wants. A rule that should have created a task did nothing last week. New rules wait because each one means working out triggers, criteria and actions in Setup, and nobody is sure what the existing ones already do.
the solution
The Zoho CRM AI Assistant opens in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe the rule in plain words, or name the one you want to check. It reads what Zoho allows for that module, the existing rules and their usage, and shows exactly what it will create or change. Nothing changes until you approve.

Every new account gets 14 days of Plus free — no card, nothing to claim — and then settles onto Free, which is permanent. In the side panel every plan has the same safety controls and supported actions, and they differ in how much you can ask for each week. The MCP connector is included in every paid plan (Plus, Pro and Max) and in the 14-day Plus trial, with the same 10,000 tool calls a month on each.

questions
A Chrome extension that opens an AI assistant in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe what you want in plain words, it reads your CRM configuration and shows you the change, and it changes it only after you approve in the default mode.
Yes. Zoho creates workflow rules active, so a new rule starts running on matching records once it is created. If you want it off at first, ask it to switch the rule off after creating it.
Creating a rule does not edit records by itself. Once active, a workflow rule acts on records that match it from then on, and an assignment rule applies to new records that use it. Existing records are not reassigned.
No. It cannot rerun a workflow rule. It can tell you which records likely did not match, and you can make the change on those records with a separate request.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. Which triggers and actions are available depends on the module and your edition, and the assistant reads that before it proposes a rule. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
