The Zoho CRM AI Assistant turns your standard onboarding checklist into tasks on a won deal, each with a due date counted from today. Once you approve, it creates them linked to the deal, skipping any task with the same subject already there.
Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.
the problem
The onboarding steps are the same every time: kickoff call, account setup, training, first review. Still, someone types them in by hand for each new customer, a step gets left out, and the due dates depend on who remembered. Zoho CRM has no checklist that appears when a deal is won.
the solution
Write your steps and their timing in plain words, and say which deal they are for:
Create our onboarding checklist for the Warehouse rollout deal, for the deal owner, due from today. Kickoff call in 2 days, account setup in 5, training in 10, first review in 30.
The assistant finds the won deal, works out each due date from today, and checks the tasks already linked to the deal for the same subjects. It shows the list of tasks it would create and marks the ones that already exist.
Nothing is written until you approve. Then it creates the tasks, linked to the deal, assigned to the person you named or to the deal owner. It does not change the deal or its stage.
You can ask the assistant to save the checklist among its own saved notes, which are separate from Zoho CRM Notes. Next time, “create the onboarding checklist for the Harbor Logistics deal” is enough.
pricing
Every new account gets 14 days of Plus free — no card, nothing to claim — and then settles onto Free, which is permanent. In the side panel every plan has the same safety controls and supported actions, and they differ in how much you can ask for each week. The MCP connector is included in every paid plan (Plus, Pro and Max) and in the 14-day Plus trial, with the same 10,000 tool calls a month on each.

questions
No. It creates tasks linked to the deal, and only after you approve. The deal, its stage, amount and account are not edited.
Only where you ask. You can type it into each request, or ask the assistant to save it among its own saved notes, which are not Zoho CRM records. A note saved for the organization is shared with colleagues on the same Zoho profile.
Yes. Name the deals or describe them, such as “every deal won this week”. It shows every task for every deal before you approve, and it creates up to 100 records per request.
From today, the day you ask, using the number of days you gave for each step. If you want them counted from the closing date instead, say so.
It can find the wrong deal when two have similar names, so check the deal name on the list before you approve. Its check for existing tasks matches subjects and looks at what exists when you ask; it is not a lock.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. This use case has not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
