Update list prices in a Zoho CRM price book

The new price list is a spreadsheet
Prices change for next year and the new list arrives as a spreadsheet. Each product has to be found in the price book and its list price typed in, and the products that are new to the price book have to be added first. One mistyped figure goes out on every quote that uses it.

Name the price book and give the prices in your message or as an attached XLSX or CSV file:
In the Wholesale 2027 price book, set these list prices from the attached sheet. Add any product that is not in the price book yet.
It reads the price book and the products already in it, matches each row to a product by code or name, and shows each product with its current list price and the new one. Products not yet in the price book, and rows it cannot match, are listed separately.
Nothing is written until you approve. When you do, it sets the list price for each product in that price book and adds the missing products with their price.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. It changes list prices inside the price book you name and adds products to it. The Unit Price on each product, other price books, quotes and orders are not edited unless you ask.
The price book you name, the products already in it with their list prices, your Products with their names and codes, and the file you attach.
Yes, if you ask. It shows that change separately, with the old and new Unit Price for each product, and writes it only after you approve.
Yes, if you ask, after you approve. The product itself is not deleted, but its list price in that price book is lost; adding it again means setting the price again.
Yes, when a row matches the wrong product, or a figure in your file is wrong. Match by product code where you have one, and check the list of changes before you approve.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. Price Books may not be available in every Zoho CRM edition. This use case has not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
