Check email opt-outs before a send in Zoho CRM

The Zoho CRM AI Assistant checks a campaign or list for contacts marked Email Opt Out, or with the unsubscribe tag your team uses, before you export it. Once you approve, it removes them from the campaign, or removes the tag from them.

Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.

the problem

Someone opted out, and the list still has them

A contact asked to stop getting emails, and the Email Opt Out box is ticked on the record. But this week’s list was built a month ago, and the spreadsheet you hand over does not have the column. Nobody checks every row before the send.

the solution

Check the list against what Zoho CRM recorded

Tell the assistant which list you are about to use: a Zoho CRM Campaign, or a file of emails you attach. Name any tag your org uses for unsubscribes.

Check the contacts in the Spring webinar campaign for Email Opt Out and the tag Unsubscribed. After I confirm, remove them from the campaign.

It reads the contacts and leads on the list and shows the ones with Email Opt Out ticked or the tag you named, with which of the two it found.

When you approve, it removes them from the campaign, or removes the tag you name from them. For an attached file, it lists the rows to take out before you export. It does not delete contacts and does not change Email Opt Out.

  • Reads campaign members, contacts, leads, their tags and the Email Opt Out field.
  • Removes campaign links or tags only after you approve.
  • It reads what Zoho CRM recorded only. An unsubscribe kept only in another tool is invisible to it.

This is an example CRM.Connect your own Zoho.
