One came from a web form, one from an import, one a rep typed in by hand. Each has its own owner and a few of the deals, so nobody sees the full history, and emails go out twice. Finding them means sorting by email or name and comparing records side by side.

Find the duplicates, then choose what to keep
The Zoho CRM AI Assistant opens in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You say which records to compare and on which fields, such as email or account name. It scans up to 2,000 records at a time, shows you each group with its owner, created date and related records, and proposes which one to keep.
For the groups you approve, it copies missing values onto the kept record, moves the links it can, and moves the extra records to the recycle bin after a final confirmation.
- Reads the module you name, the related records on each candidate, and the fields you choose to match on.
- Writes field values, links and deletes only after you approve.
- It is not a native merge: notes, attachments and emails on the extra record are not moved with it.

A Chrome extension that opens an AI assistant in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe what you want in plain words, it reads your CRM and shows you the result, and it writes only after you approve.
No. It finds candidates that share the fields you choose and helps you keep the right values on one record and remove the extra one, which goes to the recycle bin. It does not merge history the way Zoho’s merge does. If a duplicate has notes or attachments you need, use Zoho’s own merge for that group, or move them before you approve the delete.
Up to 2,000 records per scan. It says when a scan was incomplete, and an incomplete scan cannot prove there are no other duplicates. For a larger module, narrow the request, for example contacts created this year, and run it again for the rest.
Every field you choose must match. Text is compared ignoring case and spaces at the start or end, and records with the field empty are left out. It does not guess at near matches such as “Jon” and “John”.
Yes, for 60 days. Records it deletes go to the Zoho CRM recycle bin, and the assistant can restore them exactly as they were. After 60 days they are gone for good.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
